Failure to load save games.

Im having trouble loading my save games I used in my previous FM2010 which I borrowed from my friend to see If I should buy and I really liked it and and did some really good save games so I bought for myself and I just stored the save games in a folder but when I had installed my new game I transferred the games to the games folder in the FM folder and they showed up in the "Load Game" screen but when I click on them the blue loading bar goes really short and then just freezes. If I use task manager to quit it the game becomes unresponsive so I tried starting FM again and just wait until something happened, finally after about 20 minutes a screen comes saying that the loading failed and nothing more.
Sorry about the the length of this text but please help me.

P.S. I wont buy FM11 because I did not like the demo at all.

Are you on the same patch as you used when you saved?

Loading a game that was saved on the 10.3 patch when you use 10.2 will not work for example.

Im pretty certain I was using the 10.3 patch then and I just updated to 10.3
