Fast and slow learners of foreign language? BUG?

I got Matej Delac from Chelsea to Bayern on a free transfer. My intensions was to have him as a reserve keeper, if something happened to De Gea. However, I just noticed that it only took him under 127 days to learn to speak German fluently! Some of my Spanish speaking players have serious problems learning the language. Some of them been at the club over 1 and half year know and don't even know the basics. If you don't even know the basics of a language after a half year, you definitely have some problems... On Matej Delac, I am really surprised he could learn to speak German fluently under a without even knowing the basics.

Historically, German was spoken as a second language in Croatia, not so much any more, but many borrowed words from German are still present in the Croatian language.

He will likely have a high adaptability rating also, having moved from his hometown to Chelsea aged 17 and being sent on loan around Europe ever since.

Didn't know that. Thanks. But still 1 and half year and you still don't know the basics of a language?! Then you must be a complete idiot.

Do you really think SI implented this stuff into the game? I really don't think that Crotian and German are so close related you can learn German in under a half year.
 
Well they may consider that a player moving from a country with a similar language/culture will be able to settle in quicker, especially if he has a high adaptability attribute.

As for the comment about being an idiot, look at Capello!
