Transfers In

George McCartney -
Released by West Ham United, the Northern Ireland international provides competition for the starting position at left back. He'll probably end up our starter due to his ability.

Miguel -
The ex Portuguese international provides competition at right back with Maxime Baca his opponent. He's signed a one year deal with an extension should he play fifteen games.

Joel Campbell -
The highly promising winger joins us from Arsenal on loan for a second time, he'll have to work hard to displace Yann Jouffre as our starting right winger.

Reto Ziegler
- After a serious injury left George McCartney the lone left back, our Director of Football worked a season long loan for Swiss international Reto Ziegler with an option to make the deal permanent for no fee.

Pre Season

A relatively good pre season, just the one defeat and some convincing wins to amend that defeat. I do think this squad are far more capable of finishing in the top half and I hope we can challenge for the top five.

Evian TG FC 2- 5
FC Lorient
Our fine start to the season is in full effect as Jordan Ayew demolishes Evian TG with four goals, the first coming inside one minute. I can see him being among the top scorers for this season and many more to come.

FC Lorient 2-1 SC Bastia
Jordan Ayew makes it six goals in four games and continues a fine run of form.

Interessant story, glad to see a bit of Ligue 1. I will do asap a story about Saint-Etienne

Made a stupid mistake, started a story two days before going away. This will resume on the 12th of August. Many apologies.

Nice start, enjoy your holiday.
