Sir Alex Ferguson backs Mark Clattenburg's decision to award Man Utd's own goal equaliser against Birmingham.

ahhh typical not only had he backed a decision that went for his team but it was the right call anyway.

I thinks it is quite comical as when we have something adjudged offside when it isn't it is given, It happens to united it isn't?
Inconsistent?
Biased?
Bribed? :)

Ok firstly, it was not offside in the first place, secondly it came off the defender quite clearly, so it there is no argument the goal should have been given.

Lol!

I seriously think Ferguson is just taking the **** now for a laugh. Honestly, every time a decision goes wrong he annouces to the media that there is something wrong with the ref. Now a decision goes his way that was clearly right, and he feels the need to annouce to the media that he backs the ref.

To me, that just seems like he is just messing around and trying to get a reputation as a whinner

exacly whats what we are trying to say all he needed to say was well it dosent matter because it was a own goal

Im not saying it wasn't an own goal I am saying when it happens to you he doesn't agree with the linesman and when it happens to us he does!

It wasn't even offside man no point even discussing this.

I agree with the above, he's not interfering with play seeing it struck the Brum player 1st... different story if it hit the Man U player and went in.

1. Rooney might not of been ofside
2. Definate own goal

But still, it may not of been offside, but the Linesman didn't put his flag up for no reason. If it had came off a United player, I'm pretty sure the Linesman would of said offside, regardless of whether it is offside or not, it was a bad decision but United were lucky the Linesman got it right in the end otherwise they would of lost.
