After several meetings and large speculation Ferrari have decided to expand their expertise into football by creating their own club. Although new clubs in England are normally inserted in the lower leagues the FA have made Ferrari an exception by inserting them into the nPower League 2. FA released a statement which read "they will bring an even more world wide fanbase to England. Simply inserting in them the lower leagues would've meant unfairness in the resources available compared to other clubs". Ferrari FC have since sent out their scouts and have found 20 'wonderkids' that will be trained up on Ferrari's high-tec training facilities.

If you thought the Ferrari do well in the Formula One then think again. Ferrari FC are sure to be a dominant force in England and later Europe. Watch this.

The Boardroom

F.C. Ferrari today announced their official board of directors. These decisions were made after several weeks of discussion and there are sure to be more additions to the board later on through out the year. But for now, here is the official list of all four of the current named board of directors.

Chairman - Luca Cordero di Montezemolo
Luca, aged 63, is an italian businessmen who was chairman of Fiat SPA and President of the Confidustria several years ago. He is the current Chairman of Ferrari and has a reported net worth of 400 million dollars.

Director - Stefano Domenicali
Stefano, aged 46, it an italian manager and is currently the team principal of the Ferrari Formula One team. He also helped the Formula One team to winning the constructors championship in 2008.

General Manager - Amedeo Felisa
Born in Milan in 1946, Amedeo Felisa graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University Politecnico. After first joining Ferrari in 1990, he is now the CEO of Ferrari.

Director of Football - Piero Lardi Ferrari
The son of Enzo Ferrari(the founder) who presently owns 10% of Ferrari. He has a degree in engineering. Piero is the current Vice Chairman of the automotive Company.

Haha yeah perhaps it should of but the italian leagues about as exciting as the SPL.

Hugo Sanchez has been hired as the new Manager of F.C. Ferrari.
Eddie Newton has been hired as the new Assitant Manager of F.C. Ferrari.
