FIFA - A New Chapter

8pV2zW5.jpg

Before this story starts, I am completely aware this in ridiculously unrealistic. The idea behind it is extremely similar to what ‘xJamieWilliams’ has started with his story ‘Football Like You’ve Never Seen It Before’, I recommend you all read that story too as it is incredible and had me hooked, which made me want to start my own. I have been a silent reader on this site for a very long time and eventually taken it upon myself to try my own story, I hope you all enjoy.

I will be using the FUTHEAD’s random card generator to create my new squad. A bit of a background behind the story will begin now. Please comment below on ideas and issues and I will try my best to implement them to make this story the best it possibly can be.

I do like this type of story and have read the ones xJamieWilliams did on FM 2014 and 2015. How long a transfer ban you gonna put on the team? 2 or 3 years would be needed otherwise will lose a lot of players i reckon

I am going to put a 3 year transfer embargo on the editor. Yeah that is something that I am currently debating on how to get around as 3 years into the game I will pretty much guarantee every player will wish to leave. This of course depends on which players I aquire when doing the random generator!

Blatter steps down as president of FIFA

Izm6E89.jpg

Sky Sports News have just announced that Sepp Blatter is resigning from his role as FIFA president with immediate effect. The announcement has come as a surprise to most but has also been quite keenly welcomed. Football fans across the globe have been losing patience with Blatter over recent years with his refusal to grant goal-line technology until only recently (which all England fans remember after THAT Lampard goal was ruled out) and due to the corruption saga which has been like a black cloud over FIFA for a very long time.

Blatter has retired after 16 years in the post as FIFA president, after first being announced in June 1998 succeeding former president João Havelange. Blatter had been re-elected as president in 2002, 2007 & 2011.

FIFA presidency campaign begins

QD0cgHt.jpg

After the sudden news of Josef Blatter retiring from his position, the campaign has already begun as to who will fill the void left by the former FIFA president. A few big names have already been linked with the vacant position. Jerome Champagne, Prince Ali bin Al-Hussein, Michael van Praag, David Ginola & Harold Mayne-Nicholls have all been linked with the most famous role in football, but none of the candidates have come forward stating their intent on taking on from Sepp Blatter. It initially seems that former French International David Ginola appears to be the bookies favourite to take over as the new president of FIFA, but as we all know that can change very quickly in the world of football, especially in the world of FIFA.

Ginola has FA backing

kS2NcEt.jpg

Sky Sports News has recently gained the information that FA chairman Greg **** has assured David Ginola that he has the backing from the English Football Association to fill the vacant FIFA president seat. **** has stated “We all believe that David is the best to take over as the new FIFA president, he has the charisma, and all of the ideas to take the modern game forward, we had a meeting recently and all of the ideas that he had floating around were worth a mention. We do not believe any of the other candidates could be as successful as what David could be. There is no doubt in our minds that David is the one to take FIFA and world football forward.”

Recent rumours have been floating around that Ginola’s campaign is being backed by bookmakers Paddy Power, which is why Ginola’s campaign is believed to be going as successfully as what it currently is. Ginola seems to be gaining the backing of some of the most powerful people in the world of football, hopefully some of the ideas that Ginola has, will be put in place as soon as possible for the benefit of the modern game.

Ginola takes over as new FIFA president

Breaking news coming from Switzerland this afternoon, with an official statement coming from FIFA. It reads that former French international footballer David Ginola, has been unveiled as the new president of FIFA. The 47 year old was backed by all major football governing bodies as his campaign had stepped up after several meetings with top football associations across the globe where he had stated his intent and ideas if he was named as the new president of FIFA.

He ended up being backed by every single nation, which made it a unanimous decision. It is the former France international’s first major role in football since retiring as a player back in 2002. Many English fans will remember David Ginola after his time in the Premier League with Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa & Everton, as well as his time in Ligue 1 back in France with his career beginning at Toulon, RC Paris, Brest and his final destination in France being current champions Paris St. Germain.

Shock for Vanarama Conference side Gateshead

QuxOaNv.jpg

Gateshead FC are in utter disbelief this morning as David Ginola has made his first change as new FIFA president. Ginola has personally phoned the chairman stating that under his new regulations they have been forced to release all squad players, with 30 completely random players replacing the entire squad. What makes matters worse for the club are that they have now been imposed with a 3 year transfer ban, which now means that the club cannot buy or sell players for 3 years as of this morning, the club will now have to get by with these 30 players for the foreseeable future.

I like the fact you're doing something similar, but I can't help but think you're copying the idea 100% rather than using your own ways to make it different, not the end of the world mind!

Does it really matter? It's not like I am making money from this, it is a fun game which I am having great pleasure in playing, and have wanted to share with others. I credited you in the opening page stating that it was extremely similar and that it had me hooked which made me want to start my own. If you don't want me to carry this on I won't. It is a great idea which I have liked and wanted to make my own, as I say if you don't want me to continue with the idea that is fine I won't update it anymore. I am not trying to be arsey here by the way, after re-reading this that is how it sounds but I assure you I am not mate.

No that's what I mean, I have no problem with you doing it, I just thought it would be better if you had more of your own ideas into it too, dont be silly and not do it!

Haha well it does seem like it at the moment but I have a few ideas once it gets underway! Hoping to keep it going for a few seasons at least.

Gateshead FC's new players

1gANDfV.jpg

Gateshead Football Club were about to announce a rebellion when they found out about Ginola’s plans by terminating all of their player’s contracts, but according to a source close to FIFA’s head office in Switzerland, Ginola will be picking Gateshead’s new players personally. It will now be all of the other teams in top leagues around Europe that will be rebelling, with Ginola stating that he will select one player each day for the next 30 days, how he will choose his players is still unknown, the source jokingly stated he would pick the names out of a hat, but we are genuinely unsure of how they will be selected. More information will be announced as soon as we receive on this interesting concept from the new FIFA president.

The first new player is expected to be announced tomorrow.

Arsenal fans furious as Wilshere first name at GIS

DS86N4t.jpg

The first player to be announced at Gateshead International Stadium is English midfield maestro Jack Wilshere. The 22 year old will be distraught at the news that he will now be dropping down to the Vanarama Conference to join his new team Gateshead. As previously stated he will be unable to leave in the next three years due to the transfer ban which has been applied to Gateshead as of yesterday morning.

If this is a sign of things to come for Gateshead FC surely their fans will be ecstatic. Ginola has stated that 4 goalkeepers, 10 defenders, 10 midfielders and 6 forwards will be leaving their clubs to join the Vanarama Conference side.
