Finally got it right!

I have slaved over this game for months now and i finally think ive got it right!
Instead over over complicating thing, i just tweaked one or two things and my Manchester United team are awesome!!
All i did was have them play fluid attacking, pressing, man marking in a 4-2-2-2 formation or an attacking 4-4-2.

Also decided there was no need to buy anyone big because the current players are already good enough.

Goalkeeper: Van Der Sar (defend)
Full back: Rafael (support)
Centre Backs: Ferdinand & Vidic (both defend)
Full back: Evra (Support)
Deep Lying Playmaker: Hargreaves (Defend)
Box to Box Midfielder: Fletcher (Support)
Wingers: Valencia & Nani (Both Attacking)
Complete Forward: Rooney (support)
Poacher: Hernandez (Attacking)

Im only in November of my first season and am top of the league, beat chelsea 4-1 in the league, top of champions league group, in carling cup quarter finals.

This all might not matter to some, but im pretty pleased with it and just wanted to talk about it!

Had this exact tactic except had Rooney as a DLF. Second season I changed it to a Ball Winning Midfielder Defend and an Advanced Playmaker attack and I've won the league 11 times in a row, UCL 5 times, and multiple other trophies..

I tried Rooney as a deep lying forward to start off with and we didn't seem to be creating many chances

Have to work on his advanced instructions and change them to suit him. Worked amazingly for me for about 8 seasons before he got older and I got a crazy regen.
