Firstly sorry if there is another thread on this but i couldnt find it

I was looking at my finance screen and was confussed at the graph!
I am newcastle and started with a balance (according to the graph) of -8 million but within one month it rose to slightly over 12 million, i sold players for about 4 mill and loaned out many younger players
is this due to the account balance prior to me taking over? as if i have read this correct this value was 6/09 which is before the game starts.

Is it the EPL windfall payment?? At least that is what it seems like it would be.

Parachute payments, sponsorship deals, cash injections - all of those take place before the start of each season. The chairman loans/injects cash to balance the books and all the sponsor money for the season is given at once. Look at the zigzag of my United team.
