Financial Worries for Barcelona

Even if the company went up in smoke they're like Madrid, they're not only a football team they're a company.

They get money from everything they do so they could make it all back in shirt sales, player sales, match days, prize money etc.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that Real Madrid are backed by the government, so it isn't possible for them to go under which is why they will happily spend millions on players and not worry about it.

Barcelona are in a similiar situation but I don't think it's the government seeing as though they don't consider themselves Spanish..
 
How good would it be if Real and Barca went into administration! That would make the title race interesting!

basically real madrid are an institution, so their loans would never get called in, and the government uses ridiculous ways, like buying their training ground from them for huge prices then leasing it back to them for virtually nothing, so they effectively wouldnt go bust

coudn't have happend to a nicer club :)
