Fining for poor performances?

Can you not do it anymore?

I played a game as United v Chelsea won 5-2 but Inigo Martinez (my signing from Real Sociedad) was at fault for both Chelsea goals & got a 4.5 rating & I usually fine performances under 6 & warn 6-6.3 ratings

But I can't seem to find the option on 15?
 
Man, you are one tough cookie! Wouldn't fining like this just devestate a players morale?

No idea what the answer to your question is just wanted to congratulate you on the no b/s approach lol
 
Based on everything I've seen on FM15, fining players for performance would be the worst thing you could possibly do based on the dynamics within the morale aspect of the game. It's bad enough selling someone and keeping the team happy let alone fining someone for no valid reason. I suspect the reason it isn't an option is because it's hyper unrealistic. I can't remember the last time I heard of a player being fined for a poor performance.
 
Who said it isn't an option? I tend to fine players for bad performances (< 6 rating). If you fine them, most times they tend to accept the fine and that they played bad in the game without comment. I haven't found it to cause a huge decrease in morale or anything of the sort. Ofc, I have my mentals maxed out, so it probably is due to that? *Shrugs* I don't tend to have issues with player sales too;;

If you're managing at a big club (Top 10), you need to have good Discipline, Determination, Man Management and Motivation;;

Anyhow, just after the game, go to the player's profile -> Interaction and you should see the option to fine for Poor Performance there, if the AI classifies it as a bad performance.
 
Im with Sherkey on this. Fining a player who gets less than 6.00 is ALWAYS an option (I do it from the tactics screen right after the match) and is actually quite effective.

Players may not accept it but if you choose the third option (I think -Im not at game) they always say they accept is as constructive criticism.
 
I just had a player get a 3.8 and I dont have the option to fine anywhere?
 
I had the option to fine people but its disappeared since the last patch.

You can't find the option because at this rate you should throw him to the lions.

Anyway, fining is the best method to raise determination or work rate of a player

Not sure about fining a player for poor performance but you can warn them about it.

Go to the player and then Interaction>Warn Player>Criticise Last Game
