Thats quite of the problem with football manager these days, a similar story happened to me mate i took Port vale to the league one got promotion first season had a great season and proved everybody wrong by smashing Nott county in the play offs final
. You could say it was a **** of a season or just a lucky one but in the second season the board were alot more ambitious and piled aload of pressure on me to do good. Ive done a good job aswell finishing finishing 17th surviving relegation but some how they sacked me. That was cooled and havent played fm since due to my frustration.
Football manager has improved from last years tho but still needs alot of tweaking alot of stuff on the game is really unrealstic.

The only club with a Manager vacancy so far is Valladolid, and I know nothing about them! I have applied because otherwise I just have to watch my friend play haha.
Edit: I accepted the job for Valladolid, and my friend is trying to loan me all his reserves from Man Utd lol
