Just wondered if you were to change a lot of your players in the first season but had players that are cheaper earlier in the game than later ( that way saving you money), is it worth suffering the probable poor first season? Or will morale be so low that you wouldn`t survive as manager?
Thinking of trying this with Man Utd and see how it goes. Any ideas welcome :D

In my experience, the first season results are important in a number of ways: to your board (so they extend your contract), to your squad (so they perform well and increase in value so you can sell them next summer to finance players you want), and to your young players (so they improve). So I like to strike a balance. I bring in young players in the first transfer windows, but not with the intention of playing them too often, mostly to get them tutored and play them 10-15 times that first year. It's important that they be successful when they play, as that means they develop better.
