I think this should've been posted here, mate. Anyway, the trick to managing a team like Crewe is to keep it simple - both in terms of tactics and transfers. Try a basic, no-frills 4-4-2 as your tactic but you'd probably want to train another one to be used against better teams in cups. For transfers, you should loan youngsters from higher divisions and generally try not to spend any money on transfer fees (stick to free transfers, even if they ask for higher wages than players signed for money) - save it for the wage budget!
