First time playing FM... Have a million questions! :)

Hey everybody this is my first post here, after my first 3 hours playing FM, i've always been hearing good things about this game and i just didn't think i'd be interested in playing as a manager without controlling the players, but lately i've become bored of playing FIFA and PES, so i thought i'd give it a try, i'm pretty impressed, but i have a lot of things to ask, so if someone can plz help me or if there is a tutorial anywhere then i'd be thankful for that...

OK i've started a season and playing with Aston Villa, just in the friendlies phase right now so haven't lost yet either won or drawn, i have loads of questions but my most are: (i haven't made any changes but added the premier league logos pack posted here)

1. Why can't i see the players' attributes in the tactics view? i mean do i have to click on a player's name to go to his profile to see what his attributes are? Because i need to compare my players to see who is better in which attribute and which is better for this position... Also when i want to search for good players to buy for the team, i just can see their current condition and their price, and i have to click to go to his profile to see the attributes (which makes it hard to compare to others as well)

2. Some of my players are wanted by other teams ("wnt" next to player name), but nothing in the transfer page, do i have to offer him to the interested club or do i wait till they make an offer??

3. Sometimes when i choose like (hold ball) or (free role) in the tactics details drop down menu, i get the players attributes in this category so i choose the best players according to that, but it seems that now i can't get this, i mean now i only get the checkboxes to either tick players to do that or not, without the attribute (omg i hope someone can understand what i said on this one coz i really cant put it any easier and when i read it i couldn't understand what i've said!!!)

Other questions i believe are minor and i could understand by more gameplay, my biggest mystery and ****** is the attribute thingy so if anyone can plz help me i'd be really thankful.... Thanks a lot in advance

1.yes u have 2 click on players name 2 see attributes
u can then view wht ur assistant manager thinks of him
his position in squad, his potential, who he is better than
lots of other personal info as well. on the left side of profile and screen.

2. depends on whether or not u want 2 sell them
or if u can get a lot of £ for them.if barry is wanted get 25m for him and if young is wanted 20m but personally i would not sell them.
if u do look at hamsik and zhirkov to replace them.
if u do offer them 2 clubs beware they may become unhappy so make sure u are defintley want 2 sell them
3.don't get u for the 3rd point mate!

Go to options mate top left of your screen and then scroll down to "tutorial".

You can compare players and it gives you there attributes beside each other and it tell u which player is better at certain things.

i think for point 3 you mean players instructions this is different to team instructions

indivual players can hold ball up( target man ) like carew

free role is like do what ever you want (ashley young)

to get to this is need to click on the little arrow next to player name

Thanks guys for helping, now i've got no. 1 and 3 answered (i found out 3 while playing)... What i mean by 2 is that the player has the letters (wnt) next to his name but no real offers have been made, is that possible? Or is there somewhere other than the transfers page to see the offers made to me??? I mean i've offered 2 of my players for transfer, and afterwards i got (wnt) next to their names but with no real offers in my transfer page, (ex: I don't need Marlon Harewood so i've offered him for sale, next 2 days there's a wnt next to his name, when i press on it they say that interested teams are Portsmouth & Hull, but nothing in my inbox or my transfers page, so what do i do then???)

You just have to wait and see if they make an offer m8, their currently thinking it over but most likely one of them will make an offer in due time.
