Recently started my first save on FM12 with Fleetwood Town.
Was impressed with the playing squad on first impression, but losing the first two pre-season games, 4-1 to Sunderland Reserves and 2-0 to Harrogate, it was obvious I needed to bring in a few signings.
I signed Liam Chilvers from Notts County for 12.5K, and made a few loan signings; Stephen Husband (Blackpool), Arron Holloway (Bristol City), and Kayldeen Brown (West Brom).
I then managed to win the rest of my pre-season games:
Workington (W) 4-1
Bolton Reserves (W) 4-1
Aston Villa Reserves (W) 4-0
Liverpool Reserves (W) 2-1
I've just played my first game of the season, beating Kidderminster away 1-0. After the game it was announced Adam Street's work permit application had been unsuccessful, so I instead brought in Sam Slocombe from Scunthorpe for 2.5K. Magno Viera and George Donnelly also signed new contracts, making for a good weekend overall.
Next game is against Wrexham.
