It depends on your tactics and such but on mine, Fletcher is amazing, he can pretty much play any role in the center of midfield.

Hard to say; however Anderson always seems to play good for me so I would pick Anderson and put him as the playmaker.

Since FM 2010, I would set Fletcher as Center Midfield (Defense) and Anderson as Advanced Play-maker (Attack). Works perfectly for me.
