How to play WINNING Fluid football.

My teams always lose when its Fluid. Over 60% possession but still 1 shot on goal.

I dont want to manage **** defensive football. I want my football to be SEXY and still get wins.

Pls pls pls some advice PLS!!

Losing all matches and soon get sacked once and again !!!

Hey there!

It seems you need a quick advice! :)

I hope you use the "work ball in box" instruction? Without it your players will shoot the stars down from the skies, but will never shot on target.
Mentality should be "control", with "more direct passes" and "higher tempo" instruction for home/easy games. If your striker isn't tall/good header/jumper, also use the "drill crosses" instruction.
And of course you have to check how familiar your team is with your tactic. When familiarity is on high, your team will work together considerably better, that will end up in more goals eventually. don't alter your match tactics too often, let the guys become familiar with your system, you can speed up this process if you use "Tactics only" for match preparation.

For a proper answer I would need much more information though, but you can start with these little tricks. Good luck!

Why don't you post up your tactic? You'll get more advice if there is a base to work from.

I don't know if its just the ridiculous ME but I've found that 'fluid' just isn't consistent, and it makes the defense horrific. However I have found it is possible to play fast and easy on the eye football with 'balanced' and 'attack' . Just keep passing short, and pass into space. Plus don't put anymore than 3 players on attack duty, as they swan about up front doing little. If you put a central midfielder in the centre on 'automatic' duty as well it works wonders, as they get stuck in as well as spray balls about.

UP UP UP

I want to play Sexy football. If the Fluid is not consistent then it has to be BALANCED - CONTROL.

Shorter passing, press more, zonal marking, drill crossing, more roaming.

Shouts: Work ball to the box and Push up.

Basic 4-2-3-1 with Central midfielders.
