It's not awful, but it's a bit too bright. If I have to choose between all white or all black, I'd go with the latter. But I'd prefer something in between.

When you get a scouting report for the upcoming match, it's impossible to see the assist locations. Numbers are black on black background.

Got a screenshot of that? Isn't that related to the 'black' icon issue where changing rendering in Preferences/Interface fixes it?

You'd think that they would create a more user friendly skin considering almost everyone never likes it and immediately creates there own, usually dark, just makes sense for them to look at what custom skins are made and for them to work around them

how do you upload the player faces and badges on this i have moved mine in to the skin folder as i have done on previous games but cant seem to load them on to the game.....am i missing something ? ?

And you speak for over a million people over the course of a release year? Considering the skins get only a minute percentage of downloads compared to the overall userbase, how do you work that one out?

Well considering this threads title then yeah, people are already asking for a new skin and someone is already making 1..tells the story really, the colour scheme is atrocious especially the players stat colors, just no thought seems to ever go into the skin

You don't happen to work for the government do you? Specifically in their national statistics department?

lol nope, but i bet in next few month if u did do a survey on wether people use the standad skin or a custom, custom would come out on top

Gotta say the fmc skin for fm normal mode was useful to have on FM 2013, especially if you want a blast on fm and you were restricted to a short session.

Only because you would be surveying on a forum such as this one where people are aware of these mods. If you managed to poll the whole userbase, you'd actually find that the vast majority don't even know there is such a thing as a skin, or a database mod, or kits, or anything. They don't even know forums exist for it, they just buy and play the game.

Yeah, that's always my thought process.

Forums for any game are always a mess. This is due to the fact these people are the 0.01% of the userbase having technical issues, or just having a good old fashioned wine about something.

The vast majority are happily enjoying their game.

Plus, with the skin not being a fundamental part of the gameplay, and highly subjective, then it's hard for them to make a skin everyone likes.
