This is my first shot at a FM 2015 story so I’ll do my best and first time playing the game So i have to start with the lowest league first and then work my way up.

Our U18 squad only has 9 players; U21 has 3 and our main squad has 17 players on my main squad.

Just a bit of history of myself

Growing up in Hamilton, Ontario Canada I was a huge hockey fan and after completing the SWMM scouting and GM course I knew what it would take to run a successful franchise. However there was no shot in becoming a team manager in hockey unless you had your foot in the door or basically knew someone. Like the saying goes it’s not what you know it’s who you know. So I decided to take my management skills and apply them to a soccer team. So here I am sitting in my Hamilton apartment as i just finished my smww hockey gm and scouting course I have decided to give up my hockey dream and begin my soccer manager team. After a poor past couple of seasons it was known in the media that the Guiseley FC has recently fired their Manager and has begun their search for their new manager in hopes to change the franchise around and build their club. As I look at the possible ideas to help change the club I would decide to fax my resume to the ownership of Guiseley FC and after a few interviews as a canadate for the manager position I got a few phone calls later to find out that out of all of the managers that they interviewed i was the best one for the job so now I have been named as the new Guiseley FC Team Manager.

Also as a little background even though I’m Canadian and playing in the England league i have selected the following leagues:

Belgium, England, France, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Italy, N.Ireland, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Wales and USA, England the league im playing in will be playable as well is Italy and Holland as I am a quarter Dutch and a Quarter Italian

Little background info on my manager styles, I am a rebuilder through our youth squads..

With all of the players we had in our U18 squad before we had our youth intakes our youth players as you can see did not play many games, well next season they will as the players who got a big part of the games will either move up to our reserve squad next season or will be let go this off-season.

April 28th

I forgot before i posted the stats above that our U18 squad still has 1 more game on the 2nd of May.

Harrogate’s Danny Elliott won the Player of the Season with scoring 34 goals in 38 games and had a AvR of 7.49. He was also named the top goal scorer of the season as well.

Our pre-season next season will be set for 6 weeks so the players begin their holidays today and will be back on June 22nd to prepare for next season.

How things will work for next season is that our Head of Youth development will suggest possible players for our club and if I think it would benefit our club then I will sign them if I don’t think they won’t then I won’t. The game between our U18 and Walsall U18 finished in a 0-0 draw.

March 8th

We have setup a game between our U18 squad and our Youth Candidates to get a look at them to decide which ones to sign and which ones not to sign.

I’ve changed the way I’m running my U21 and U18 clubs. If when I bring in youth players they have the year to develop and if they develop well in that year then we will bring up the players to our U21 squad the following year. If they need another year to develop until they are 18 they will stay with our U18 squad. If we think they shouldn’t be back the following season on our U18 or U21 we will let them go at the end of June.

What a game, the game was 2-1 for the Youth Intake at half, then it was 3-1 for Youth then 3-2 for youth then 4-2 and then U18 scored 2 back to back goals for the game to finish in a 4-4 draw.
