FM 2008 - What Do You Think?

So what do you think about the new FM? Fave features? Worst features? Not got it yet, why?
 
ok since i have had it since Tuesday and except Sean have played it more than most on here :D nah sorry the best new feature has to be wage structure,real time subs,confidence on signings etc and the skin

as of yet no baddies
 
What's the new scouting system like? I thought the last one was really good, but I heard they were improving it so I hope they havn't messed it up.
 
Some of us like to spend most of our money socialising and on holiday money therefore can't afford this yet. I will get it in the next few weeks.

the scouting is more or less the same as the old one just the scout actually tells u recommendations in the news and there is a start rating system aswell on ability and potential

lol, poor Ad, hasn't realised plenty of us have student loans to blow :P

but nah i haven't got it yet, first time for ages i haven't got a new FM when its come out :o Need to get work done first....
 
not the point you clearly stated none of us have lives.
 
Didnt realise age dictated wages. Well my trip to sandland got called off so Im back home and will be FMing real soon so I'll post me likes and dislikes soon.

Will do definitely mate, although its gonna be next week now as I have to go to Oman sunday night now. My companies been ******* me about proper lately :mad:
 
Oh yeah Ive found an annoying little thing about FM08. In the club finances/transfers screen, if you click adjust budgets there when you're done your transfer sell on clauses duplicate themselves, making it really hard to see which ones are duplicated.
 
I'm enjoying it so far, however my poor tactical ability is causing a leaky defence. Currently 5th with Everton after 12 games, not a single clean sheet in the prem :(. I will continue to tweak till I figure out the problem, if not I'll blame Hibbert.

Oh, hate the skin too.
 
I dont mind the skin, actually think its better than 07. My problem is scoring goals, get bucketloads of chances but dont score them.
 
Defence seems to be my problem so far. I like how they finally fixed the scroll down arrow on player stats when playing on windowed. However you cant watch champs league draw now :(
 
The 'Make Available For Reserves' option is quality. Dont keep having to move players from squad to squad now.

I like it when you put one fo your Reserves into the first team and you can say if you just want them to be in it for a week etc..
 
Im struggling at the back at the moment now. Im winning and drawing but cant seem to keep a clean sheet. Dont think Ive kept one in 13 games now.
