I am a lover of the FM seriuos but upon playing the FM 2011 demo I didn't see much difference between 2010 and 2011, so I am caught in two minds whether to buy the FM 2011?

Is FM 2011 worth buying???

fm 09 or fm 10 ? .... the new version is always better even if you prefer the older one. stupid question -.-

They have more player moves and things, from what I seen on youtube, updated more and more involved with the agents apparantly,

Theres a lot more things id like to see on it for example, managers player of the year, where you get to pick your player. At the end of every season, you can change the design of your kit, If you dont have any patches then you have the same kit 20 years down the line. More options to play mind games with other managers, even if your not about to play them, more realistic signings for lower league clubs, somehow reserve players do not want to go to north/south conference side teams. For the national job, maybe bid to hold the world cup in the future.

Small things like this would make the game a lot better, but im no one really to comment i f*cking love fm
haha

dont be a noob, of course you must get Fm11, it is always a better version of the year before (SI will never go backwards) plus, you are only playing the Demo version which has bugs and limited functions, do not be so quick to decide whether it is worth it or not, how many hours did you get out of Fm10? it is the Best series there is and support the Developers, it is a great game!

there are difference, FM2010 is better than 2011. 2011 is has a new match engine which has not been fully fine-tuned to be bug free. Also 2010 is a more user-responsive match engine enabling you control your team playing what kind of football you like.

At first glance things might be the same but trust me once you start playing it you will notice endless small changes and tweaks that add up to make a massive difference. Basically they're not gonna overhaul the stuff which was already good in previous versions. What they have done is improve on them. The training and tactics are now so detailed and so good you could spend hours on those alone in the new game XD

I really can't see why people keep saying, 'I can't tell the difference between FM10 game and the FM11 demo.' This is the first time I've ever downloaded a demo, and I'm glad I did. FM11 demo is better than FM10. Last years game was really bad tactically. I've never played a version that was so limited. The first thing I noticed with the demo is that wingers work. I had to play the diamond simply because you couldn't play wide men. It limited what teams I'd manage because I knew if I'd joined a team with wingers I'd have to sell them, even if they were the best of their division.

FM11 will be much better. The demo's good, the game will be fixed with patches and game flow is superior to any other year.

seeing as though FM 11 isn't out yet how can you say that?

from the demo you can try out the new match engine. the retail version is exactly the same, except, there must be some bug-fixing patched out in the future but only bug will be fixed, i still think FM2010 is a more playable version

FM 11 is pretty much the same as FM10 but with new features, so how can FM10 be better? I think the previous FM title always feels more playable until you get used to the new version. Just my opinion (A)

considering that there is a release day patch the retail will be different once patched, and lot more than bug fixes will be in it

Why cant they not fix the bugs before they release the game?

Instead of puuting out a patch on the first day :S

the demo goes out when the game goes gold (into production) most of these have come from feedback, also that two weeks is a lot of extra testing time

Thanks for quick reponses think i'll wait till after Janurary when the transfer window has shut and hopefully the bugs will be fixed by then

FM10 until monday since those twats at Zavvi have only just despatched my FM11 order.
