FM 2010 regens/virtuals

In several FM games before like FM 2006 or FM 2008 you could offer contract ''virtual'' players in your reserve team and they had very good attributes. In FM10 that isn't case. I don't understand if you managing club with very high reputation (like Barca) you don't have good ''virtual'' players and if you see other clubs their virtuals are **** good. Can someone explain me this mess?

these players come in at random.....e.g. barca will generate good regens in about 3 seasons or so....

I think he's not talking about regens. Are you? Because every team will get regens. Hé is talking about the virtual (grey) players that fill up a team when they do not have enough players to form 11 players on a field. These grey p[layers have stats according to the reputation of their team. Barca won't have any since they've got enough players and a B and C squad...
