I just bought FM2013 today and i have spent the last 4 hours trying to get it to work but i keep getting a essential data missing message, i have tried the fix below but still can't get it to work.
Close Steam
- Right click on Steam shortcut
- Click "Properties"
- Choose the "Compatibility" tab
- Uncheck the box "Run in Compatibility mode for"
- Click on "OK" and then start Steam using the same shortcut
- You can now try the game
