For the 2014/2015 season, a team by the name of FM Base will be entered into the Vanarama Conference North. This team is not your run of the mill football club however, this is a team made up of ordinary people, living ordinary lives. Set up in Leicester, aiming for a central position, the club is made up of 25 players, all in their teenage years, all looking to make it big.

There is one snag; due to new FA regulations, the club has not been cleared to sign any new players apart from those that join them through their academy.

With the team plunged in right at the deep end, it’s time to meet the stars of the future.

The three tactics currently being trained are a 4-2-3-1, a wide 4-4-2, and a 4-1-2-2-1. As to which I'll be starting with come the opening day, no idea.
 
Can't wait to see how well we'll do! hopefully my player develops well too!

I'm doing the friendlies now, just so I have an idea of tactics and starting line-up, so I would think they'll be up either tonight or tomorrow morning, with the season preview shortly after.
 
If you notice there has been any changes to the player screenshots, it's because I have had to restart the file on account of contract issues with 2 players. Service is as normal however, friendly results will follow soon.


NB: This is good news for Patrik, who tore a hamstring a day in!

EDIT: Consider this thread closed due to technical difficulties. I'll have a fresh one posted in the morning with the correct screenshots. Thanks for your patience on this one

I think the images have been taken down and this thread has been scrapped.

There was some problem with couple of players contract end date, hence GodFish93 has closed this thread and will be starting a fresh one later on. At least that is what my understanding is.

@Znik: You beat me to it. Gotta improve my acceleration. :P

@ PhoenixFirebird: I did, after all, pick it as one of my two best physical attributes! Maybe you should go for Anticipation instead? ;)
 
Yeah, sorry folks, due to a couple of issues I found with contracts I had about a month in, I had to reset. It would have been up last night, but my laptop wasn't playing ball, so it is cleaner to start a fresh thread which I will when I boot the laptop up
