FM board interaction to sign a player

I wanted to sign Ricardo Montolivo for Bolton (I'm using the editor of course) and I had no transfer budget left. I decided to ask the board to sign him and they said they'll try. They offered 27m.. they accepeted and he's currently looking at a contract! :-)

This is just to let people know that board interaction does work! I've tryed it so many times before and the transfer has just died out.

Yeah the Bolton board are quite good, they signed Clint Dempsey for my Bolton side.
 
Thats great but can you afford his wages? And does he even want to come?
 
Better than the Celtic board. XD I tried to sign two people ON LOAN and they essentially told me to **** off. XD
 
Well obviously it works, it wouldn't be on the game if it didn't work. And no doubt it helps that you've edited your teams finances :S

Yeah. It's great. He's joining me for £27m in January. :)

After having the offer accepted, the board also negotiated the contract and he accepted that. I think you can only use this option once a season or something though, so make sure you have a player that may come, don't use it on like Lionel Messi if your somebody in the Championship or so <)
 
i had 22 transfer budget left with man city and they got me torres for 68m :)

I've gotten the board to help me once..and it was only a few mil. On the other hand they love increasing my transfer budget :$
 
would it ever work if :
i tried to sign balotelli with levekuzen, he would only costt 7.75m but my budget is 0 ?
and when they kick me out of the office, does it hurt my job security ? or should i just keep on asking ?
 
for chelsea i need marek hamsik or torres i think, im gonna ask the board and see what they say
 
I got Javier Pastore for £21m from the Atletico board.
 
the CHELSEA board said there's no funds, what happened to abramovich!!
 
wow ur board is good, I tried to get Francis Jeffers on loan and my Board told me to crawl back under my rock :(
 
i signed javier pastore in my old tottenham save after i asked the board, they got me him for 22M on a 5 year contract :)
 
Once liverpool agreed to sign london donovan for me. Many clubs was on for him so eventually he joined chelsea.

Another time Fiorentina finances was actually insecure but i still asked to buy Robert Acquafresca and they agreed and offered 36m for him! Guilty about that though , since he was only a backup at 36m
