Some personal information
I was born on the 6th of January 1994 in the seaside town of Bray in the south east of Ireland. I loved championship manager and I played everyday. Here is a picture my Dad has of me with my friend.

I was never interested in school and when it came time to leave I had no college and no job to go to. I decided I would do my coaching badges. I remember thinking how hard can it be I mean I turned MK Dons into the best team in the world in FM 09. I now have my National A license.

Where I am now
I woke up this morning and decided today is going to be the day to start trying to get work. I applied to every team I could find without a manager and surprisingly I got 3 responses. They were from AFC Telford of the Vanarama Conference,Southport also the Vanarama Conference and Tondela of the Portugese second league. Hopefully FM can count as experience.

The Interviews

Charlie Clapham: You never managed a club before why should I overlook that?
Me: I would have hoped my qualifications would have been enough but I have to start somewhere and I think Southport is the place.
Charlie: Please explain why you are in the running for two other jobs?
Me: I just want to start managing as soon as possible and two isn't that unreasonable.
Charlie:The club has limited resources and a 10k transfer budget. Can you still perform?
Me: It will be a challenge but I can do it.
Charlie:Have you any philosophies you wished to be judged on?
Me: I would love to develop youth players.
Charlie: If we choose to hire you, you will be expected to battle relegation.
Me: I think I can do better and avoid it all together.
Charlie: That's all I had to ask. I'll be in contact soon.
Me: Thank you. I'll talk to you then.

Ian Dosser asked all the same questions except for one. He asked " We want a manger who can work with the current staff, can you do that?" I answered the question honestly and said " Actually I would like to be able to make a few changes" and that was all that happened.

I decided I wasn't prepared to move to Portugal so I turned down the interview with Tondela. I hope it doesn't come back to bite me in the **** later on.
The Results

Southport reply first and offer me the job and I'm delighted. Minutes later AFC Telford give me a call and wish for me to join them aswell. Now for the biggest decision of my life.
