Fm crashes when i go in to a game

I have tried FM10 And FM11 and both of them have crashed when i go in to a game, Is it because i am using The Dell lattitude d 620 laptop? The only reason i am using this laptop is that my dad uses my old one now for work so i have been stuck with this one but i am getting a new laptop for Christmas.
So is that the reason or is it another reason, If you want me to explain the issue more just ask.

Anyway to your point, what is the spec of the laptop? Mainly how much Ram and what processor?
Not sure why it wont open but it could be that your PC isnt able to run them.
