FM Gods made me "Cheat" :@

I've just finished my second season with Arsenal and I've won the quad.. and I'm trying to justify to myself that I didn't cheat... as such...
My last 2 games of the season were the FA cup final against Newcastle and the Champions league final against Roma.

My first team options are
GK:Asenjo/Almunia/Fiorillo
D: Clichy/Pedro/Toure/Djourou/Shawcross/Fazio/Sagna/Sendeross
Dm: Viera/Ndaiye/Kabore
Mc: Fabregas/Ramsey/Denilson
AmL: Matias Fernandez/Juan Albin
AmR:Arshavin/walcott/van persie
St/CF: Villa/Mata/Fleck/Vela

Before either of the matches even started Ndaiye,Sagna,Sendeross, Arshavin and Mata were injured and would be unable to play in either game. And Clichy, Vierra and Fazio were suspended and wouldn't be able to play in the Champions league final. But fair enough I still had a team!

Then during the FA Cup final (which I won 3-1) Newcastle injured Villa, Mata, Van Persie, Kabore, Fabregas, Denilson and Pedro.

That left me with a Team of...
GK: All 3 keepers
D: Toure and Djouro
Dm: No defensive midfielders
M: Ramsey
AmL: Fernandez and Albin
AmR: Walcott
St/CF: Fleck and Vela

I felt ROYALLY screwed and there was no chance I would beat a full strength Roma squad with what was left of my squad...
So I reloaded the game before the FA Cup and replayed it to reduce the injuries!

Has anyone ever had that many injuries in 1 game before? Because it seemed ridiculous to me :S
Also apart from the Villa injury which happened on 6 minutes, all the injuries in the newcastle game happened within about a 10-15 minute margin near the end of the game.
 
How did you manage to get all them players in two seasons? Some nice dealing there and no I've never had that many injuries, I'd download the new patch as they fixed all the injury **** you normally get.

My player was out for a month once because of a dead leg.
 
Ive had 5 or 6 1st team players injured but never that many. I have found that my team is never injury free currently having 3 players injured.
 
I usually manage to get a fair few players injured in pre season. I've started 3 games as Man City and Robinho always manages to break something in a friendly / European qualifier and miss the first 3-5 months of the season.
 
That's VERY unlucky mate, and I don't reload games myself but to be honest I'd feel cheated because in all honesty, that would never happen in a real game of football because if one person goes off with a serious injury, its just instinct to make your tackles less aggressive, so it's something SI haven't looked at imo. Therefore, your reload IS justified, so don't feel like a cheat, I'm sure whether people admit it or not, they would do the same thing :)
 
I lost Asenjo for the first 2-3 weeks of the season.

Worst injury crisis I had was only 4 at one time, although of the 4. 3 where my strikers so I went without Rooney/Tevez/Aguero for a month.
 
ive had 8 first team players out at once in my new net game, but i played with what i had and it worked out fine

I sold Nasri, Eduardo and Adebayor for £20mil each and Gallas, Eboue, Song and Diabe for £5-£10 each... then adjusted wage packet alot... so I was taking a loss each month during my second season... but now my season has ended I just adjusted it the other way with the £30mil the board gave me for transfers to even it out :)
Villa cost me £81 mil lol :P

Thanks for the advice, and thanks everyone for making me feel better about what I did :D Always hated cheating and reloading but I just didn't feel right about that game :P

One other thing that I found very strange... which I didn't notice at first...
Apart from the David Villa injury... all the injuries were exactly the same "Damaged thigh, out for 2 weeks - 2 months" or something similar :S
 
I would have done exactly the same thing in your position because as someone said above you would never get that many injuries in a real life game.Just wondering why you paid £81m for villa when you could of bought someone like Benzema for around £40-£50m and i even managed to get kaka for £60m in my first season when i was chelsea.
 
I always reload after i get a 5 month injury to theo walcott , marquinos , vela or dos santos - i dont feel guilty cus a few months later they get another 5 month injury. If that was the real world theyd have taken up snooker or something less strenuous.

I love Villa :P In the game and in real life! And there have been rumours of Arsenal splashing out to buy him (even though it probably won't happen) So I wanted him on the team :)

Because Villa is better than Benzema?
 
be barcelona. its the worst. especialy messi, xavi and iniesta. they are always injured once again especially messi lol.
