FM in Canada

Hey folks,

First time poster long time player!

I've just moved from Dublin to Calgary in Canada and I've bought a new laptop today.

When I go to purchase FM18 it says it's not available in my region? Anyone had similar issues or know how I can resolve this? I can't imagine not being able to play FM in my spare time!

Sorry - facetious response, but you have my sympathy. I had no idea some areas were restricted. Do you still have the disc or were you playing off downloaded?

It will be downloaded, from reading up it appears some countries have restrictions for licence reasons.

I wonder if a VPN would work to download it.

You may need to go on holiday somewhere and download it then use it on offline mode back home XD Seriously though, that's brutal!

Weird because I'm from Toronto and had no problem. Maybe you need to change your account region (just a thought) or just make a new account.

Yeah, its gotta be something with your Steam account settings. I'm in Canada and bought every version they've put on Steam. Nary a problem.
