FM Match Glitch

First of all, just to say I love FM and (nearly) everything about it.

But I've noticed what seems to be a match screen glitch.

Basically, what happened was I got a free kick as Lazio. Just before the free kick I confirmed a tactical change. And then the commentary confirmed 'tactical changes'...and the next thingI see is Juventus break away and score....but what happened to the free kick?

This also goes for corners....and also goes for general attacks. Of course, it works the opposite way as well, in that I can seemingly stop the opposing team's free kick from being carried out.

This happens 90% of the time.

Could anyone explain it to me. If it is the case that I wouldn't have scored from the free kick...I would still like to have seen what happened from that result of play..rather than skipping straight to Juve's next attack.

So you are saying every time you make a substitute somebody scores?

If I'm honest it sounds like a coincidence but I'm don't fully understand what you mean.

well you will have highlights only showing, so there can't have been anything good from the free kick so it skipped past it.

Well once I went to do a sub in tactical changes and came back and I was 1v1 with the keeper and it just said 'making tactical changes' and I didn't get to see it.

It means that you are in 'Highlights mode' if you want to see what came off that free-kick switch to what the whole match

Yeah, as far as I can tell it only very rarely applies tactical changes while a highlight is playing. If it does, it almost always means that the highlight is over and the ball has gone out of play for you to make a change...

...basically what everyone else is saying. Why am I posting. Oh well. No sense wasting typing.
