FM tactic to the perfection - unbeatable in german league

Hey guys,

Been tinkering a lot with this fm15 and come up with a tactic containing a lot of ball possession and high defensive line, in general a very attacking play style.

Formation is 3-4-1-2, I managed in my 4th season with Dortmund to go unbeaten in the german league, only two losses during the full season (away against Napoli and Barca in CL). I won the german cup, the super cup and CL.

In the league it ended with these stats; 31-3-0, 151-15 with 136 goal dif.

During my four seasons as manager for BVB we won the league 4 times, german cup 3 times, super cup 4 times, CL once. Reus won golden ball twice, Ødegaard won golden boy twice and I won manager of the year four times.

I'd say this is by far the best team I've had on FM, both squad wise and stats wise. I've tried a few variations similar to this with 3 central defenders and two players in the #10-role, but as seen on screenshots were the most effective. Also, to keep the mid central defender as cover and ballplaying prooved to be best in order to keep goals against at such a low level.

Further details to be found in attached screenshots. Hope you guys can find any ideas from this and take it even further (if possible)! :D

looks good will give it a try after my exams, love the formation
 
not sure how I do so, sorry. quite a noob when it comes to fm forums :P
 
I see u made copies of it so

What changes do you make in game?
do you have a counter/defend lead version and chase goal version too?
 
Did some tinkering to start with but kept the roles and formation more or less as viewed in the screenshot of my main formation (3-4-1-2). It did its job.
Against some thougher teams it could be worth dropping one of the strikers down to midfield as a 10'er or anchor/roaming.
 
Hy, you put for download some other tactic. Please could you check that and change to tactic from screenshots.

The hyperlink does go to a different tactic if you click on it, but copy and paste the hyperlink he posted and that will work for you.

Omg he is unbeated in the german league... so good.. with f'ing neymar, odegaard, fierro, cavani, balanta and rulli.. why do people still post tactics like this one with a 2018 dortmund side with amazing players..
 
Not the same tactic as screenshots ???? Can u upload the same as you use

Please why dont u upload some screenshots of been undefeted with barcelona or real madrid on 2018 or even further? Oh let me think U CANT ! its pretty **** difficult to win every game except if u are using editors! Always gonna have injuries ,red cards low moral players AND ALL THAT affect our flawless system anyway the result are made at least on champions leugue vs Napoli 9-0 yeah sure and vs real madrid 6-0 and sure u lost 2-1 and 2-0 in the first game no way u won a game without conceding a goal editor? or u added a new manager?

I have no idea what you are trying to say. Can you proof you did not use any editor , scouting tool or replayed your matches 20 times?

seeing how many people have responded to this post. I am guessing it's not working for anybody else because you did cheat. The post above me even says the tactic is different in your download link than the one on your screenshots. No that is not weird at all, start by matching your tactic and screens , and showing its real.

I can tell you all that I have not cheated, loaded, added any additional managers etc. I shared the same tactic to start with, but was saved under another formation. In other words, it were not any mistakes there.
But I have edited this, within 24h from when the post was added, to show correct link to correct tact with correct formation.

I dont get the hostile comments. BVB are not dominating the german league, you have Bayern, Wolfsburg, Schalke, Leverkusen and more. So going unbeatable wasnt easy for sure.

Not sure how to proof that I have not cheated, I can show the whole save file for the wizkids out there to break down the file to clear my name? lol, get over yourself.

Try it out guys, I am sure you will do great as well. I just want to share a good experience. I have used this tact but with different formations with different teams lately. More or less done as good as this one, with mid table ranked teams. Even won PL after 3rd season with Fulham as a chship team to start with 1st season, so its defo worth a try lads.

Did you do the dropping of the striker much? Top 3 teams or if they were favorites?
