FM won't start when i click on it...!

I try clicking on it and nothing happens, the same with Steam. I have restarted my PC and the first time I click on it it says it is checking Steam for updates but then nothing happens.

Note: FM froze the last time I was on it.

Is steam in offline mode? If so flick it online and start up steam again then load FM
