EUCA Super League v2

Welcome to the European Super League for FM11. I am very proud
of this creation and have been enjoying FM11 again since
I started playing this.
Players' transfers updated for summer 2011/12.
Have fun.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!! OCCASIONALLY I HAVE ENCOUNTERED A CRASH WHEN THE GAME STARTS IF I DO A PLAYER SEARCH FROM THE DROP DOWN MENU. SO TO BE SAFE AS SOON AS YOU LOAD THE GAME UP PLEASE PRESS F5 AS THIS SEEMS TO FIX THAT PROBLEM!!

I don't know why it crashes if you do not do this (it's effectively a shortcut to the player search,) but if you do a player search using the drop down it will crash lol, I dont know why.

In the zip file there contains logos for more competitions with instructions on how to add them if you don't know how.

Please note I have used the summer update by LG and built upon that. It was the best update around so full credit must go to that author for all the real world transfers done on this. Also a big thanks to him for allowing me to use his database. Muchas Gracias. His summer update is found here: http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=5351

Description

Due to the corruption at U.E.F.A 964 of Europe's biggest clubs from nations on the continent have voted in favour of forming their own breakaway league.
With some of the worlds biggest corporations and companies promising to invest heavily in
this new venture the new structure is setting up shop within the North American continent.

On board so far are Fly Emirates, Sky, Volkswagen, adidas, Deutsche Telekom, UniCredit, Credite Agricole and Skoda, with a few more likely investors due to come on board in the next few weeks.

It is believe that around £1.5bn (but likely to rise) will be shared amongst the clubs amongst various competitions, and the figure each team gets will be split accordingly due to their stature within the tiers of what is set to be called 'The European Super League', and within this new league structure there will also be Divisional cups as well as a European F.A Cup. Also during each season there will be a Super Cup where the winner of the European Premier League will play the winners of the F.A Cup.

Clubs will not move from their country of origin and will remain to play their matches in Europe with the governing body based primarily on the Island of Montserrat.

FIFA have sanctioned this new breakaway league and given the go ahead for the league to be based in Montserrat, but with the proviso that the governing body of E.U.C.A must in turn create an unofficial nation that will not be recognised by FIFA, but with the hope that it brings soccer to a more wider audience. It also must not conflict with the already established M.L.S but work along side that to bring a wider scope to soccer within the Carribean and the North American continent.
FIFA have also allowed clubs from E.U.C.A to compete in the two newly formed world club competitions.

EUCA Structure details:

Added bonus - European Legends from the past.

I decided to add something fun into this database, so I added some players from the past. I am not going to list who is in there, thats upto you to find them if you fancy signing some.
Here is just one player so you know how far back I went with this project.
All begin life as a free-agent.

Started this game off last night so far it's looking good no problems in downloading & installing.

Choose to play Newcastle starting off in tier 3 division 2B got through all my friendlies and will start the league programme tonight.
on the transfer front i've decided to sign young players only with the major signing being Kadlec for 8m and a couple of Rc lens youths for between 1-2m each.

as for the free youths no spoilers but i've signed a few good ones (hopefully) along with a certain 17yo called David Holmes :D

I'll let you know how i get on with the game as i progress

Ha you spotted me eh :D

Well I have also started in the 3rd tier myself with Stade Rennais. We're not doing too badly, third place after 15 games but a long way off the quality that Lille are showing in the same division.

As for signings I haven't gone too crazy - gone with a couple of the free agent kids and a couple of experienced free-agents too like Eddie Johnson. Also splashed out 1.5m on Abou-Trika (the Egyptian MC).

I was given 10m transfer budget but I've decided to just keep it there for a rainy day because in the past I've gone too crazy and always spent what was given, but I wanna give this one a proper go and build from within and buy the occasional new face or two.
Knocked out of the FA cup though by Sedan 2-0 in the third round but have made it into round 3 of the division 2 cup (Hyundai Cup) - 1st round we had a bye and 2nd round we beat Zaragoza 3-0.

Good luck with the toon.

PS. Thanks for the feedback and giving it a try. If it gives only one or two people some enjoyment then I'm happy to have created it :)

No problem trying it out it offers something a little different then the standard game.

One small glitch 2nd league game off the season clashed with an international game so i had to play with reserves / youths but still got a 3-3 draw.

signed Phil Jones (MUFC) and Sturridge (Chelski) on season long loans with no fee, wages or recall

I only play FM for about 1 hour a night so my feedback might be a little intermittent

Looks good so far, Just downloaded it and started with Liverpool. Am signing Fernando Llorente and Hopefully Wesly Sniejder. Also I have seen Zidane and should be getting him :). Looks like its gonna be fun.

I play FM all day every day lol love it :P. My main season I am in 2019/2020 with Swindon in the Championship.

Are hartlepool on this ?

No, sorry, they are not. I didn't do any more tiers after the ninth and their rep within the database didnt enable them to qualify :(

If you know how to use the editor maybe you can load it up and exchange them for a team already there in this competition. That's all I can suggest. If you havent used the editor before try this - Just load up the editor, select database 11.3.0. The load data editor (file EucaSuperLeague.dbc - the click database > teams. Search for Hartlepool. Click on them and choose competitions on the left panel then from the drop down menu now visible in the top right goto that box and in the filter do nation contains clubs - you should then see a list of the competitions edited in this database. Then simply pick a compeition then resave the file as the same name and hey presto - Hartlepool are in.

(I think thats the correct steps as i was just doing it from memory).

But Carlisle are on :( Lol , i've never used the editor but may give it a go

Thanks

Just downloaded it got the crash dump error will start one with Napoli haha.
