FM11 Stories idea's

Hello all i was just wondering on what story ideas your like for fm11 please post up all your ideas.

This should be called "Post up your story ideas so I can steal them" thread tbh.

But as of yet I don't have any ideas really. LG Fire had the videos idea but that's all I've seen really. The best stories are people who can spell properly and use proper grammar and use a lot of detail, the rest suck imo.

dont no, there couldnt be much difference from 2010 stories to 2011 stories. but i went in game today and asked when football manager 2011 is out 29th october. And ive pre - ordered it for 34.99

Just continue the normal format but I for one would like to see an actual story, rather than results just posted with a news conference to add bulk.

I agree. although many may regard it as childish, to make a good story you have to spend time on it! it's all well and good just posting a few results, a little info on the game and thats it! the point of a story is to make it like a proper story, like real life events. when you read BBC sport, you dont just see results. you have information, pictures etc.

I think that's important for any story.

I think most idea's have really been covered, I am not sure about the video updates but they can only get better, it will be tough for someone to conjure up something new.

I think that's important for any story.

A news report just isn't a story though.

These ones on Base need something imaginative in them at least, to make them the slightest bit interesting.

The news reports do make them a little bit more interesting though, as it is a form of non fiction writing.

I have given the story idea, I also gave all the possible story template's, so techincally ive been doing the most for stories , but i guess to make a good story you would have
- Main Charater
Once you have your main character (Manager most of the time), add information about him, tell what going on with him in his life, what your planning
-Fictional Life
Have a fictional life with whats going on, say that youre getting married or bought a new car and add detail of how happy you wreer or details of why you did it
- Press Confrence + Matches
Here's what most stories need fixing, all stories are like this so it should change, just talk about what the manager is doing, not only post what he said or results with his view, but talk about how the manager was going to training and something happened.
-Add Information
Just dont post images and say theres the result but go and add creativity, and in-depth information.
-Update it
Dont leave it there to rote but instead update whats going on in the game and in "your fictional" life

That is because there has been so many **** stories, the majority of members have just given up on reading the stories.

Shouldn't be about the interest mate, only do a story if you are 100% committed to it and you know that you'll enjoy it.

It shouldn't matter about if anyone is following it in the first place - if it's a good enough story, with the correct spelling, grammar, and its interesting, then people will read it.

The fact should be reiterated that you should only do a story if you are going to enjoy it, not so idiots can one word post it with 'good luck m8' and the like.

Completley agree but it's a bit 'disheartening' like when you do a big update then it slides down and is straight to page 3 before you know it.

Instead of having a discussion for the next game, use this guide that LG Fire has just taken the time out to make. Has some good ideas on how to improve stories, etc. Anything you think can be added may be discussed in there. Thanks.
