FM11 - Tactic World Championship

In this thread I will be testing the 32 most downloaded FM11 Custom Tactics.

I will do this with a database which I have created containing a league of 4 teams with identical squads and identical staff etc.

The compatition will work as follows:
I will test 4 tactics against each other by assigning each tactic to one of the four created teams and then holidaying the season, each team will play each other 15 times (45 games in total). When the league has finished simulating the top two tactics will go through to the next round and the bottom two will go out. I will then continue this process until I find the winning tactic.
 
Round 1 - Match 1

1st - BLUE - 4-5-1 Free Flow ZN Updated FM11 (zengnian)
2nd - YELLOW - 4.4.2 Strong Defence More Goal (Jackie)
3rd - GREEN - 4.2.3.1 The dreams come true (kEEkos)
4th - RED - 4-3-1-2 Midfield Domination (ananasfan)
 
Will you be testing the il devasto? I have heard a lot about it, never got to using it myself though, I normally use my own tactics.

Looks really cool, I will be following.

Ouch, not a good tournament for red, the others are basically equal.
 
Round 1 - Match 2

1st - BLUE - High Scoring 2-4-2-2 (japi)
2nd - GREEN - Al's 4-2-3-1 'Pass and Move' (Alex)
3rd - YELLOW - THE BIONIC MACHINE (4.2.3.1) (RANI EIBO)
4th - RED 4-2-4 Winning Trashing (Terence Lee Jilong)
 
Round 1 - Match 3

1st - BLUE - Inside Attack 4-3-3 (Nick Harrington)
2nd - RED - 4.4.2 Lots of goals and success (The gunboy)
3rd - GREEN - 4.4.2 Won Everything with Tottenham (razibabi)
4th - YELLOW - 14&0 Played 14, 34 Goals for (Unknown)
 
It looks very interesting.

I think my La Masia is 8th most downloaded on the site, my only worry is it dominated 11.2 patch but 11.3...I'm worried lol. Still good luck to everyone who gets entered and it's a brilliant idea all round to test the 32 most popular tactics out.

Can you please test the Il devasto, brobs17 ultimate v3, goals galore v5, zero sea's fairyland v3 ?

Exactly, il devasto has over 1000 replies and 190,000 odd views and I would guess it has a ton of downloads aswell, even though it's not on that list. But of course you can't measure exactly how many downloads it has, like you can with the others, so it's okay to do it this way aswell.

I second this, along with Mr Hough's, think these tactics should be seeded first and all others should be fighting to get into that champions league group, almost like qualifiers :D

ok lads when I have finished testing the 32 tactics from my list I will test the best four from these against the four which you have mentioned.

Round 1 - Match 5

1st - GREEN - Brian Clough Tactics 11.3 (JP Woody)
2nd - YELLOW - Goals N' Clean Sheets (gisaju)
3rd - BLUE - Timmsy's 4-5-1 Total Domination Tactic (timmsy123
4th - RED - Raikan007's Perfect 4-3-3 tactic (Raikan007)
 
Surprised to see Raikans tactic not winning, let alone coming in last in its group.
 
I did one for you using the tactics mentioned that wanted testing:

Blue: Zero Green's V3 Control Tact
Green: Mr Hough's Viper Tactic
Yellow: Brobs17 Ultimate V3 Rarely
Red: II Devesto

Results were as follows:

Brobs17 Ultimate V3 Rarely won with 87 points
Mr Hough's Viper came second with 66 points
Zero Green's Came third with 63 points
II Devesto came last with 28 points
 
My 4-2-4 has over 4000 downloads? I wouldn't just use the DOWNLOAD TACTICS section, there are so many more (and better) tactics in the discussion section.
 
How are the tactics being drawn together? It just seems kind of odd/unfair that 3 of Sir Noom's tactics ended up together. Just curious.
 
Wow, surprising il devasto lost with such an amount. Maybe it's just better against AI or maybe it just has too much hype.
