FM13 Not Starting On Windows 8 (Non Steam version)

As the title says, it's the retail version of the game, I have tried installing multiple times, but it still will not start up. I am booting it from the desktop and have tried running it as an admin and in compatibility mode, but nothing happens, there isn't even a process in the Task Manager.

Hope someone can help.
