fm14 skin problems? PLEASE HELP!

I have just download and installed a skin from the Steam Workshop, but once I changed the skin, the main menu screen is black, with nothing on it. i can't even get into the preferences to change the skin back . i have been onto the steam workshop, and removed the skin from my subscriptions, and the skin is still in use.

Can anyone help me resolve this please?

If not work, goto C:\Users\**YOUR USER**\AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\Preferences\version 103
Delete fm_skin.xml and skin.xml​

Im having the same problem. I dont have a Preferences folder in my FM 2014 folder..

You sure in the the hidden appdata folder? not the one where tatics are stored? follow the full path above, make sure you turn on "view hidden files and folders"

You'll have to reinstall, make you copy your game and graphics folder.

is this what causes skins not showing on steam fm 2014? i havent have blackscreens - skins are simply not showing up on the interface tab,..

aport from deleting the settings xml in the pref folder no idea without a full reinstall sorry guys, Just backup your game and graphics folder.
