FM2010 database into FM2008??

Hello all,

I've tried to get into FM2010 I really have but I just can't?? I tried FM2009 but didn't like that, neither of them feel like FM08 which was very easy on the eye and easy to navigate around etc.

I've been a fan since the early 90's of the original Championship Manager (Champo) but am wondering if they are just trying too hard??

However despite updates, and maintaining bits myself, it would be great if someone had took this new database from FM2010 and somehow put it into FM08. The reason I want this is so that all the young talented players are in the game or 2 yrs older and so players are the same age in FM08 as they are in modern life?? Does everyone understand?

I know it's a lot to ask but it seems many people like FM08 still so I can't be the only person who wants such a thing and hasn't thought about it? Now before someone says 'Si on't like it', think about this: I may leave for good soon, cos I'm pretty down about the whole thing to be honest and then I'm ore likely to try something else, i.e Championship Manager etc

Can anyone help or advise? Any help appreciated.

I don't know how to change the database... but some advice. Don't go to Championship Manager 2010. It is absolute ****!!!

Yeah championship manager 2010 is really ****!!! i played it for about a day and its the worst game ever!!!

Yh... thank god I didn't pay for it. Downloaded it from my mates account to see it, and never used it again. Its been uninstalled and everything. Took two years to make and is doubly bad!

They will make this very difficult as many people will choose to update previous football manager releases such as FM09 and FM08, rather than buying the latest FM2010.

There response would be to give FM2010 a try, but like yourself i do not like FM2010 setup very much. You get used to a certain page setrup and then in a new release its all changed around. Plus on my FM09 i had a good skin which i liked, all good quality player facepacks and upgrading to FM2010 feels like a massive jump backwards on a basic skin and no photos etc....

I didnt buy it either i only got it for summat to do before fm10 came out but i didnt even manager half a season on it.

Well I won't be buying that CM2010 then!! I don't want to leave, I sort of feel like I'm cheating my girlfriend deserting FM like this, but I really can't get into it. It makes it worse cos some of my mates seem to like it. I know they will make it difficult and understand why, just wish they wouldn't change it as much as they do??? It does half spoil things, and I know u always get moaning so and so's like me, but gees!!

I've found the above which has been downloaded 7000 times from last month so I can't be the only one still playing this??!!?!?
