FM2012 wont run from DVD

I recently bought a new laptop and reloaded FM2012 and registered ok with Steam. When i try to run from DVD it redirects to Steam network and tries to download the full game from the website. When i try to go into offline mode it tells me the game isnt ready to play yet I have DVD loaded.

thats because you need to download it from steam network, then install it and then you can play it without needing the disc.
