I wasn't sure where to post this as i want a quick reply i thought this forum would be the best bet.

When i had football manager 2010 installed on my pc before i never needed a disc to play the game or save the game and ive since done a reboot and when i came to install the game yesterday each time i open it, it says i need a disc. Is it something i've done in the installation where i now need to have the disc to play the game? It's nothing major as i don't mind using the disc it just means everytime i want to play the game i have to find the disc which in my room is practically like looking for a needle in the haystack.
It would be fantastic if i can get it working again without a disc so any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If you install via Steam, you don't need the disk. If you do it the other way you do.

So the solution is to install FM2010 through Steam.
