football manager 2010 steam code

son has just bought me football manager 2010 using his pocket money so it is second hand, it's the thought that counts, unfortunately being 2nd hand the registration code has been used so I can't use it, have contacted steam and sega but neither has bothered to reply, can anybody offer me any help and suggestions as to a way around this, thanks

Just install via disc method, if I recall correctly its via uniloc. You install via disc and are asked to enter the code from the back of the manual or the back of the box.
