Football Manager 2012 Editor Problems

so i changed the man utd starting transfer budget and wages.
i went and played the game and i found it worked. but when i tried to changed rooneys stat all to 20's it didnt work. most of them got changed to 14. so why is that

you will need to make his ca higher, and probably his pa too. even if you set both of these to 200 (max) then not every attribute will stay at 20 so it's best off just choosing the important ones, e.g. does he really need 20 for long throws?

Because there is no such thing as a perfect player. Just a player who can be at most really good in everything. So the FM engine ensures that that does not happen.
