Football Manager 2012 Quit Unexpectedly?!

So I started a save and I've now got to the 1st January 2013, but whenever I press continue, the game crashes and it says 'Football Manager Quit Unexpectedly'. This is really annoyed me because now I am starting to think whenever I play and get to this specific date it will always get stuck.

Any fixes? If not I'm getting a refund.
