I always play Spurs at every edition of FM. Actually i thought looking at the title, it will be an in-depth look at the starting 2011 season squad and team. But it is nice to see this thread up, so we can share each other opinion about this team...

Playing Spurs, now in Dec 2016, 15 games into the new season.

Kinda easy with Tottenham right now, I struggled with them like 2-3 years ago.

I had great success in season 1 without going into details...only 1 purchase and sold lots of fring'ers.
Will continue season 2 and maybe 3 in same vein....Ade's at city again and wont come back but luckily i have another target man replacement my italian scout found and for a pittance of 2mill he will come at the next window in 4 months but tbh pav has hit some form so they mightt need to fight each other for the place.

For the people using Friedel instead of Gomes, don't. Gomes is a beast on FM.

I started a Tottenham save like I did it last year, but now I don't know if I should go with Friedel or Gomes as goalkeeper. I have also a question about the tactic. Do you usually play with a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3?
At the moment my first 11 are:

Just started 13/14 with 2 wins in the premier league, FA cup and Carling cup, 1 Europa League was was CL runner up last year:

Indeed, got the quadruple on the first season, with my only purchases being Vrsaljko in summer, and Shawcross and Sow in January. Sow was largely ineffectual, though, only scored 1 goal in the remainder of the season.
