Hey all 
So I've been playing FM since the '08 game and I've never had any trouble with it. On the laptop I am currently using, I played FM 13 with additional leagues and logos downloaded for about 10 seasons. I had no issues whatsoever. However, after downloading FM 14 through Steam, the game is incredibly laggy and choppy. I am getting somewhere like 10-20 fps and it's incredibly annoying. The only addon I have with this version is LFCMarshall's transfer update (which is awesome btw) and I'm certain that isn't the problem because I've tried playing without it and the problem exists. On top of that, I also know it isn't the leagues either because I tried running a game with just the BPL and a small database and it still lags like crazy. I have a pretty good laptop seeing as how I can run games like Skyrim on ultra and still manage 30 fps. My graphics drivers are updated, I have no antivirus software that is blocking FM.
How do I stop this being laggy? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
