I've recently had a lot of trouble with FM, but after reinstalling both Steam and Football Manager, I have been able to play the game again.
The problem now is that, every time my computer restarts and I start up Steam, there is always a Steam update (which takes about five minutes) and then a Football Manager update, which takes a few hours.
Pretty annoying really, so does anyone know why this is happening, or how I can stop it from doing this?
