Foreigners Playing for Home Nations - Discursive Essay

Afternoon guys

Thinking of coming back on here - i never quit, just exam pressure etc made me inactive.

For English we're doing discursive essays and for mine my topic is that of non-Scottish/English players playing for that country. Carlo Cudicini, Andrew Driver, Arteta and Nacho Novo are some names which have been banded about in recent years regarding this.

Basically i'm just looking for some detailed thoughts/opinions, plus links to any articles you would be kind to pass on.

Higher English? For most discursive essays I'd advise you to stay away from football and pick something else, because my teachers told me last year to avoid doing anything related to football. They said it's very difficult to write a high scoring essay about it, and far too many bad ones are handed in.

In my opinion, I blame fast food for British clubs having to get foreigners.
