I'm trying to figure out a formation where I can accommodate 2 strikers, wingers and a number 10; but every time i set up a new formation it looks too offensive or some of the positions on the pitch are too close to each other
If i move to a 3-3-2-2 will I lose most of my creativity? I play with Chelsea if that helps
Cheers.

As I think you've noticed, with two strikers you will typically have one playing slightly deeper than the other, so the deeper one will encroach on the same areas that your No.10 wants to play in. An alternative might be to play an Advanced Playmaker_Attack in the CM line and/or to switch to a 4-4-1-1 with a Shadow Striker in the No.10 position, with a Deep Lying Forward ahead of him. This suits a formation with wingers and overlapping or supporting full backs all instructed to get crosses in. Generally speaking, a decent Shadow Striker will become your top scorer. You can put an AP in the CM line in this formation, too. Certainly in FM14, this worked really well if the AP was an excellent dribbler but you need a tough-tackling steady Eddy alongside him to prevent handing the midfield to the opposition.

If you do opt for the 4-4-1-1, then train your central midfielders to Switch the Ball to the Opposite Flank. This makes quick use of space when it appears on the far side of the pitch, which an overlapping or supporting full back can help your winger to exploit.
