History
Forres Mechanics Football Club are a senior Scottish association club from the town of Forres, Moray, currently playing in the Highland Football League. They play at the town's Mosset Park. Forres Mechanics have won the Highland league twice: in the ​1985-86 season and in the 2011-12.On the 29 September 2012, Forres Mechanics played their most high profile match in recent years when they lost 1-0 to angers in the 2012-13 Scottish Cup.

I decided to take control of my local football club as i support them and collect their programmes and also wanted to take them to the top.

Beginning of a career

Having looked through my team I have decided that the team does have quality for the Highland League and with very little mone (to be expected) I am not going to make too many transfers.

Stuart Knight- a good quality keeper whos been at the club for years and will be a rock in goal for us.

Graham Fraser- still a young player with good potential to get better. he will be at the heart of my defense unless he becomes injured.

Overall it was a very good preseason and certainly a better than expected start to the season.

Opening day of the season, a very lack luster draw against a poorer team.

Second game of the season was a good win against a team who were favourites to beat us and this has kicked us on for the rest of the season.

September and October

A disappointing 2-2 draw against the worse team on the day, although we lost out to them in possession we created more chances and i feel we should of stolen a victory.

Although we won i was disappointed with how we having had control of possession and the majority of the chances we failed to take them and make this win more convincing.

Very disappointed with this result. Alright we lost out on possession we had control of chances created and we really needed to make better use of the good attempts on goal that we made.




Decent win against a slightlyl weaker team had more chances and more shots on target than Brora.

What can I say except that wasa great result. We took our chances brilliantly, converting all but 3 of our shots on target and only losing our clean sheet due to a good chance taken by a decent player.
