So far i have been using 2 strikers as attackers, tried with one striker and one FC but the FC doesnt play as he was intended to resulting to low ratings. Can someone describe me the best use of a FC and any other tips about using him and generally make him useful for the team. Thanks:D

I would suggest that you tweak the FC's instructions to get the best out of him. Adjusting his instructions that plays to his strengths would help you reach that goal, eg(my theory), unless the FCs long shot ability for long shots are 14 and above, I would set that instruction to rarely. Those with 14 and above would then to set to mix, never often.(strikers are meant to take long shots all the time, imo).

Among all, if you at the start of the game and/or using a new tactic set, then give some time for the strikers(all players for that matter) time to adapt to their respective roles.

Think FC is like a lonely striker upfront which is in the centre. (Centre Forward).

in general i think FC is someone with some vision who can set up a striker but also score goals sometimes. striker's job is to be the main goalscorer. that's how i've found it anyway.

So what are the best player instructions to give an FC, and then an ST? I've got Vela and Torres up front, Vela being the FC and Torres being the ST, but my player instructions are very similar for both and I've found them not scoring as many goals as they should be, so looking at this thread made me think there should be a considerable difference? :)

A CF is like Gerrards role at Liverpool at the moment or Rooney at Man United. It is someone who feeds off the striker and can bring players into the game.

Which would explain why Berbatov has scored 32 while Rooney and Tevez together have only got 20...

with the 4-5-1 formation that i am using an FC with strenth of 17+ is a good option and use him to hold up ball then use your midfielders with long shots 15+ to score some raspers! Ian Black for me scores a few good ones you can buy him for 350k now hes worth £4m scores from 40 yards!

what we call a ''9'' would be huntelaar right now at madrid, stays in the 16 yards and has only one obligation, to score, the other one is more crative, more technical goes down to the middle, he is more implicated in the game, a raul-higuain type of guy. Dunno if its very accurate though.
